Initial Consultation, Examination and Treatment

Please allow an hour for your initial consultation, this includes filling in the consent forms beforehand and booking your next appointment afterwards. On arrival you will be asked to fill out a questionnaire on your health and area of complaint. Before your appointment you will need to fill in a short consent form which should take no longer than 10 minutes to fill in. As a new patient you will be taken through a comprehensive case history, physical, neurological and orthopaedic examination. This will be followed by a report of findings, and we will discuss with you most suitable treatment plan for your condition. On occasion treatment is not appropriate on the first visit. If this is the case you will be advised why and further advice will be given, or referral to another healthcare professional.

Follow on Treatment

Please allow 20 minutes for your treatment session. A review of your complaint and an update on your progress will be provided. Any further advice and exercises will be given.
